hyperWALLET™
The hyperWALLET™ online payment service, available through MemberDirect, allows you to email cash to friends and family, transfer funds between financial institutions, shop online, and receive payments from other hyperWALLET™ users. This service is a quick and secure way to transfer cash; the fees are low, and no personal information is revealed.
For example, if you have a teenager away at school you can use hyperWALLET™ to “Beam” or email funds to that teen. You can also use hyperWALLET™ to pay for items purchased online and avoid the risk of sending out your personal information or credit card number.

How do I start using hyperWALLET™?
If you are not currently enrolled in MemberDirect please contact your branch to sign-up. Once you are enrolled in MemberDirect, the next step is to set up a hyperWALLET™ account and get an ID number.
All you have to do is go to MemberDirect and click the link for hyperWALLET™, select new wallet sign-up and follow the instructions. You will be sent an activation message and a member profile containing your wallet ID.
You can then go to MemberDirect and transfer funds to your hyperWALLET™ account. The funds will be transferred to your hyperWALLET™ immediately!

Add Cash
• Transfer funds from MemberDirect directly into your hyperWALLET™ immediately

Cash Out
• Move funds from your wallet to any bank or credit union account in Canada or the US (you will need specific account details to do this)
• It takes 1-2 business days for funds to transfer
Beam Cash
• Send Cash from your wallet to any e-mail address (the recipient will need to open a hyperWALLET™ to access the funds)
Auction Tools
• Send and receive auction payments
Foreign Exchange
• Convert Canadian Funds and US Funds online
Business Payments
• Remittance, invoices, and web cheques
Service Fees:
• Cash Out to Canadian Financial Institution - $0.75
• Cash Out to US Financial Institution - $0.75 (USD)
• Receive Cash Payment for an Auction sale – 2.9% ($5 maximum)
• Receive Cash Payment with web cheque – 2.9% ($5 maximum)

hyperWALLET™ Transaction Limits:
There is no limit to the number or value of cash transfers between “wallets’ that you may process. For cash-outs, the transaction limits are:
- CAD$5,000 or USD$3,500 daily maximum.
- Any CashOut in excess of $2,500 CAD or 1,500 USD may be subject to a processing delay of 1-2 business days.
