BOARD and VOLUNTEERS
MSCU is a financial cooperative where member volunteers play a very important role. Members can participate in the Credit Union's decision-making process by attending membership meetings and/or serving as Credit Union volunteers in one of the following areas.
Board of Directors
Mennonite Savings and Credit Union Board of Directors is elected and consists of 12 member volunteers who meet on a regular basis. The Board of Directors establishes the overall direction of MSCU on behalf of the members and monitors the overall strength of the organization.
Credit Committee
The Credit Committee is an elected member volunteer committee that reviews all larger business, farm, and institutional non-mortgage-secured loans, and also reviews loan approval reports, disbursements, loan extensions, and loans in arrears.
Council of Members
The Council of Members was established as an elected volunteer member committee of the Credit Union in 1992 to assess the needs of the Credit Union, and through a gift-discerning process, identify candidates for the MSCU Credit Committee and Board of Directors.
MSCU Reps
MSCU Representatives are volunteers of the Credit Union and act as points of contact when members of their respective congregations seek information, or have questions or concerns relating to MSCU.
To find out more about the MSCU Rep program, or to begin the process of identifying a Rep for your church, please call Frank Chisholm (519) 746-1010 or 1-888-672-6728.
